Adelaide University Sport & Fitness (AUSF) is looking for an exceptional leader to join our management team as Head of Operations and Infrastructure.

With more than 40 sporting clubs, three on campus gyms and multitude of sporting facilities in South Australia, AUSF plays a vital role in creating healthy, connected and inclusive communities. This is an opportunity to influence how thousands of students, members and community participants experience sport and recreation every year.

Reporting to the CEO, you will lead a diverse portfolio spanning facilities, sports grounds, fitness operations, finance and commercial activities. You’ll help drive our strategic direction, oversee major projects and infrastructure, and ensure our operations continue to deliver exceptional experiences and long-term sustainability.

School Holiday Program Coaches

Are you looking for fun casual work during the school holidays? Do you love working with kids? Are you passionate about sports? Do you have a knack for school sport activities?

If you answered yes, then we're searching for dynamic individuals like YOU to join our Adelaide University Sport team to assist with our School Holiday Program. The program runs four times per year in each school holiday period, with different sports offered on different days for children aged 5 to 11.

Requirements
  • Experience working with young children is preferred.
  • Previous coaching experience is preferred, but not essential.
  • Excellent knowledge of the rules and basic skills of a sport offered during SHP is required (sports for each program are partially determined based on coach availability).
  • Must hold a current, valid Working With Children Check.
  • Completion of the Play By The Rules Certificates:
    • Safeguarding Children and Young People in Sport Induction
    • Harrassment and Discrimination
    • Inclusive Coaching
  • Ability to attend a pre-SHP Coaches Meeting (date and time TBD).

Mercedes College Sport Coaching

Mercedes College is currently looking to find several sports coaches for the upcoming Winter Sports Co-curricular programme (Term 2 and 3).

The Sports that are played at Mercedes College in Winter, across Boys and Girls disciplines are:

  • Table Tennis

Mercedes College are currently seeking up to six Netball coaches to work with the Middle Years teams (Years 7 to 9) during the winter season.

PEMBROKE SCHOOL SPORTS COACHES

Pembroke School is seeking enthusiastic, committed Sports Coaches to join their Casual Sports Coaches Register, supporting one of South Australia's most vibrant and inclusive school sports programs. Currently looking for Winter Sports Coaches for term 2 and 3 who are passionate about developing young people through sport and who bring energy, professionalism and care to their coaching practice. Training sessions are held before and/or after school with matches on Saturday mornings or after school.
 
Sport is central to life at Pembroke. With nearly all students participating in one or more sports, our program is built on participation, performance, teamwork and personal growth. Our coaches play a vital role in shaping positive sporting experiences that foster confidence, resilience and a lifelong love of sport. 
 
Sports Coaches engaged through the Casual Register may be required to:

  • Contribute to the design and delivery of engaging training sessions appropriate to age and ability
  • Teach fundamental and advanced skills within a specific sport
  • Assist in the selection and preparation of teams for interschool and competitive fixtures
  • Motivate and mentor students to build confidence, discipline and teamwork
  • Promote sportsmanship, inclusivity and ethical behaviour
