what is the program?

The Junior Performance Pathways Academy is an athlete development program designed for high school students aged 13-17 years old who are looking to build a strong foundation for future sporting success.

A holistic athlete development program delivered by Will Pratt (Level 2 ASCA, Masters in High Performance Sport), the program goes beyond traditional gym training to develop the key physical qualities required for athletic performance. Delivered at the Adelaide University Gyms - City East Union House, students will train in a high-performance environment using industry-leading facilities and equipment.

what's in store?

Participants will undertake sports science-based physical performance testing throughout the program, allowing them to benchmark their current capabilities and track their progress over time. This evidence-based approach provides valuable insights into athletic development and helps athletes better understand their individual strengths and areas for improvement.

Students will experience a variety of strength and conditioning training methods, including strength development, power training, and high-intensity interval training (HIIT), all delivered within a structured and supportive high-performance environment.

The program focuses on developing the physical foundations required for long-term sporting success, helping young athletes build strength, resilience, confidence, and performance capacity to support their sporting ambitions.
