SA Challenge

SA CHALLENGE HAS FINISHED FOR 2025. SEE FULL RESULTS HERE!

A state-based intervarsity competition where the focus is on fun and participation, but not without fierce competition between us and our closest rivals (UniSA, Flinders Uni). Sports vary each year, but there is always a range of ball sports, racket sports, and bat and ball sports to choose from. Entry is just $10 per competition which includes a playing shirt.

UniSport Nationals

2025 TEAMS ARE SET & NATIONALS BEGINS SOON!

Nationals is an annual festival of University sport. Held on the Gold Coast, QLD from September 27 through October 3, the University of Adelaide competes in over 30 sports, including soccer, basketball, volleyball, cycling, lawn bowls, and more.

It is an AU Sport and Fitness requirement that you are a current Univeristy of Adelaide student enrolled in Semester Two to be eligible to register for UniNationals.

UniSport National Championships

National Championships are the national-level competitions offered separately to UniSport Nationals. These include T20 Cricket, 3x3 Basketball, Swimming, Athletics, Distance Running, and more. These events are a great opportunity to compete on a national stage!

Indigenous Nationals

INDIGENOUS NATIONALS HAS FINISHED FOR 2025.

If you are Indigenous or Torrens Strait Islander, you might want to consider representing the University of Adelaide and Wirltu Yarlu at Indigenous Nationals 2025. They will be held in Whadjuk Country (Perth, WA) from 23-27 June 2025 at University of Western Australia. All sports are mixed gender, and whilst there is a fun and social atmosphere around the event, the competition on the field is intense! This is a great opportunity for First Nations Australians to come together, share stories, and celebrate culture through the medium of sport.

Adelaide University Sport and Fitness have assembled Men's and Women's UBL teams which are currently competing in the 2025 New Balance University Basketball League. Stay tuned to our social channels for weekly updates!

University Tennis League (utl)

OUR 2025 UTL TEAM IS SET AND THE SEASON STARTS SOON!

Following on from the success of the University Basketball League (UBL) and a successful pilot in 2024, UniSport in collaboration with Tennis Australia will be bringing the University Tennis League (UTL) back to the courts in 2025. The UTL is a competitive event bringing together universities from across Australia to compete in mixed tennis tournaments. The 2025 UTL is planned for Semester 2 and will consist of qualifying fixtures played within four regions (north, east, south and west) with the top team in each region progressing to finals.
