The Rugby 7s Roma's, named after Dame Roma Flinders Mitchell, is the University of Adelaide’s high-performance Women's Rugby 7s team. They are one of seven universities across Australia selected to participate in Rugby Australia’s and Australian University Sport’s national competition, the University Women's Sevens Series Australia (UWS).

The creation of the competition came off the back of the 2016 Rio Olympic Games gold-medal success of the Australian women’s team. The UWS competition was put in place to find the next generation of female Rugby 7s players around Australia, both from traditional and non-traditional environments.

Information for the 2024 season is yet to be released, keep an eye on our website and socials for more details!

The Rugby 7s Roma's are always looking to grow their squad and push their interstate rivals, with players having the opportunity to move onto the Rugby Australia Rising Stars Squad or the Australian Team.
