The Adelaide University Sport and Fitness 130 Years Gala Dinner: Reconnecting Past Champions, Funding the Future will acknowledge key milestones including:
- 145 Years of the Adelaide University Boat Club
- 120 Years of the Adelaide University Football Club
- 120 Years of the Adelaide University Athletics Club
- 90 Years of the Adelaide University Soccer Club
- 80 Years of the Adelaide University Basketball Club
- 45 Years of the Adelaide University American Football Club
Hosted by media personality Jess Adamson, throughout the evening you'll be able to enjoy fine award-winning South Australian wine from Howard Vineyard, Coopers beer, and a delicious three-course meal - while hearing the enthralling tales from an exciting line-up of Australian sporting identities, and networking with past and present players, alumni, Olympians and the wider Adelaide University sporting community.
As we raise funds for the Waite Oval Redevelopment, we invite attendees to bid during the Magain Online Auction (beginning prior to the event and finishing on the night) and the Magain Live Auction hosted by Platinum Sponsor Magain, buy bottles from the spectacular wine wall, taste the Adelaide University Sport Seasons Gin at the Prohibition Gin tasting bar (and buy a bottle!), and buy tickets for fantastic raffle prizes.

HOST - JESS ADAMSON
Over 24 years in television news, Jess Adamson forged a reputation as one of South Australia’s finest journalists. Her extensive reporting roles at Seven included the Sydney and Beijing Olympic Games and the Tour de France. In 2015 Jess won Best Broadcaster of the Year at the SA Press Club Awards, and in 2006 was named SA Journalist of the Year. Jess is married to Dave and they have twin boys, Angus and Louis, and a daughter, Sophie.
