The Vice Chancellor's Cup (VC Cup) is a fun, high-energy interfaculty competition bringing together students and staff from across Adelaide University. Each college and portfolio is encouraged to enter at least one team for each event. A range of sports and activities are represented throughout the competition, with points accumulated to determine who takes home the Vice Chancellor's Cup.

The VC Cup 4 × 800m Relay Race will take place on Friday 30 October 2026, at Adelaide University's City East Campus, starting at Barr Smith Lawns.

Teams of four will compete in an exciting 3.2km relay race, with each participant completing an 800m leg before passing the baton to their next teammate. Teams will race against one another to earn valuable points towards their college or portfolio's overall VC Cup tally.

Whether you're a competitive runner or just keen to get involved, the relay is a great opportunity to represent your team, enjoy some friendly competition and finish the VC Cup on a high!
