Whether you're new to rugby or have been playing for years, Kickstart Rugby is designed to help every participant begin the season with confidence, excitement and a sense of belonging. The event focuses on developing the whole player through a balance of rugby skills, game understanding, physical preparation and personal growth.

Across the weekend, participants will take part in rugby skills coaching, Rugby 7s activities, a Rugby Combine, team-building challenges and modified games. Players will also learn from guest presenters in areas such as sports science, recovery, sleep, nutrition, hydration and rugby pathways.

Kickstart is not an elite academy or representative program. It is an opportunity for players of all abilities to connect with teammates, make new friends, learn from experienced coaches and become part of the wider Adelaide University Rugby community. Parents are encouraged to be involved throughout the weekend, with opportunities to attend presentations, connect with other rugby families, learn about player pathways and explore ways to contribute to the club community.
