AU Sport is calling for expressions of interest for a coach for the Inagugural Sino-Australian Collegiate Rowing and Dragon Boat Friendship Challenge held in Nanjing, China. 

Travel for the event will be 8th September to Wednesday 16th September 2026 (arrival back to Australia)

The event is expected to attract 350 faculty and students from Chinese and Australian universities.

AU Sport is seeking to send a Male and Female 8's crew with coxes.

Th regatta will be split into 2 competitions with sprint races over 1,000 m on the 10th September with the top 2 finishing Australian Universities to compete against an international cohort on the 13th September. 

This is an additional event of 4 x 500m Erg relay race on the 10th September.

This is a volunteer activity with all flights, expenses and cultural experiences for the trip covered.

AU Sport will select the most competitive team possible and is seeking a suitably qualified coach to contribute to a  selection panel and prepare / guide the team through competition.

The travelling party will be supported by a member of AU Sport.
