University Basketball League Media Accreditation

Adelaide University Sport and Fitness (AUSF) look forward to working with external basketball media and content creators throughout the 2026 New Balance University Basketball League (UBL).

Adelaide University Waatu (AU Waatu) home games will be played at Pridham Hall on the City West Campus on the following dates:

  • Thursday 13 August vs UWA
    • Men: 12:00pm
    • Women: 2:00pm
  • Wednesday 19 August vs UTAS
    • Men: 11:00am
    • Women: 1:00pm
  • Wednesday 2 September vs Monash
    • Men: 12:00pm
    • Women: 2:00pm

 

UniSport have in place terms and conditions for external media personnel, and these terms and conditions must be agreed prior to accreditation being granted.

All external media personnel (including visiting teams) looking to shoot professional photography or videography at the AU Waatu home games must complete this form prior to attending an AU Waatu home game at Pridham Hall. Consideration for requests may not be heard on the day.

Professional photography or videography in this context is classed as any photography or videography done with an interchangeable lens camera such as a DSLR or mirrorless camera, any videography done with a dedicated video camera, or any photography or videography done for a commercial purpose.

Adelaide University Sport will seek to approve media accreditation requests within 24 hours, notified to the email address provided in the form. Should there be a reason that approval cannot be granted, the reason will be provided alongside details of the UniSport complaint procedures.

Approved media are asked to arrive at least 15 minutes prior to the tipoff of the first game to receive their accreditation. If alternative arrangements need to be made for arrival, please email the address from which the accreditation approval has been sent to advise.

Write 'Self' if for unpaid portfolio or hobby work.

UNISPORT TERMS & CONDITIONS

The home university is required to make all reasonable efforts to accommodate photographers and journalists including those from visiting teams. Photographers and journalists must avoid disrupting or blocking the view of the court and/or the work of other staff.

More specifically, they must:

  • Not change sides during play or time-outs, or walk freely around the court during play;
  • Not take photos from beside the team benches;
  • Not take photos standing in front of spectators;
  • Not take photos that block the view or the function of the court signage.

Any interference caused by media personnel of the game, players, benches, officials or spectators will be dealt with by the game day commissioner and may result in the removal of the media personnel from the court.

COMMERCIAL USE

The UBL licence agreement sets out those properties that the UBL has and retains the exclusive right to commercially exploit in addition to the rights and obligations that the UBL universities have in relation to the exploitation of commercial rights.

Adelaide University Sport and Fitness does in-house photography for UBL home games, and is not seeking external media for paid work. External media are welcome to attend for their own purposes, however we are always open to supporting the work of external media on our channels. If you answer 'Yes' to this question, we will provide a link to upload your work and will provide credit and link to appropriate platform (e.g. Instagram, YouTube, Website, etc.) if your work is used.

It is not a requirement of approval that your work be submitted for use by Adelaide University Sport and Fitness.
