2024 Annual Report: AUSF record growth and achieve key goals

Published Mon 20 Oct 2025

In 2024, Adelaide University Sport and Fitness continued to champion the role of sport within the new Adelaide University - advocating for its place at the heart of campus life while delivering strong outcomes across every area of our work.

From club development and high performance to facilities, participation and inclusion, social sport, and intervarsity representation, our focus remained on creating opportunities that unite students, alumni, and the broader community through sport.

This year, our membership base reached 8,000, representing a vibrant mix of students, alumni, and community members.

“Sport, recreation and fitness continue to play an important role in University life,” said Adelaide University Sport and Fitness CEO Michelle Wilson. “On behalf of the Board and staff, I extend my thanks to the many supporters who contribute to Adelaide University Sport & Fitness, both within and beyond the University community.

“The team at AUSF takes great pride in the way sport connects students, alumni and the wider community. I thank the Board for their guidance and our staff for their ongoing dedication to our mission.”
